We don't just plan on paper, we also implement!

It’s not easy to find the right channels, the optimal budget and key figures to measure success in an online world that is changing ever faster.

As in any other industry, you should rely on proven experts for digital marketing campaigns. At digital nalu, we have more than 15 years of experience in planning and implementing campaigns. This applies to both clients and contractors.

From the beginning, we have been working with banner advertising. Display marketing is the playout of graphic advertisements (often animated) on the Internet.

Just as advertising space used to be sold in printed magazines and newspapers, various websites also offer the possibility of placing banners on the Internet. The allocation of space is done through the interaction of various programmes in real time (hence the term “programmatic advertising”) and is based on various criteria. The selection and purchase of these digital advertising spaces therefore requires not only experience but also the right technical tools, such as an ad server.

While display campaigns are suitable for the awareness area, search engine marketing takes you deeper into the sales funnel. Google continuously makes changes to its search engine algorithm and thus presents advertisers with new challenges again and again. Based on our many years of experience, we know what is important: a clean technical set-up, flawless tracking and continuous optimisation. This applies to the organic part of the search results as well as in the Google Ads (formerly Google Adwords) area.

Through the so-called “social signals” and the emergence of Facebook as THE social media community, we grew into the topic of social media marketing. In the meantime, it is also true here that if you don’t separate the wheat from the chaff, your campaign will not be successful. Today, social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc. are about more than fans, shares and likes.

With the emergence of eCommerce as a digital sales channel, the buzzword “social selling” was born and, together with performance formats such as Google Shopping and feed management, became further pillars of our work. In the area of product data, we can ideally complement our competences from other online marketing disciplines.

Our experience and technical understanding also come into play in tool evaluations or implementation projects. In our opinion, there is still a lot of untapped potential in this area for manufacturers or in the B2B sector.

So, when will we implement the first campaign together?

Display campaigns (banners)

Whether it’s a large banner ad on a news portal or a short video on YouTube – display creates attention. However, the devil is (famously) in the detail.

That’s why digital nalu offers you everything from a single source, from planning and technical set-up to ongoing optimisation during the campaign. If desired, we can even take care of the graphic design of your banners with our partners or integrate your feed for “dynamic creatives”.

In accordance with the principle “customer first, data second”, we place particular value on generating customer insights for your business through display campaigns and using these, for example, for target group management. With the help of specially programmed algorithms, we take your display branding campaign to a new level.

Search engine marketing

We all know that if you have a question today, you ask Google. The search engine is the undisputed number 1 and daily contact point for all situations in life. It is therefore all the more important to be found in Google with your product or service. The basis for this is already laid in the search engine-friendly conception of your website, app or online shop. In our experience, saving on SEO does not pay off, but results in higher expenses in the area of search engine advertising (SEA).

Our services in search engine marketing include both the creation and maintenance of Google Ads accounts, as well as optimisation according to defined KPIs. This includes not only the selection of the right keywords, but also the writing of the ad texts including various extensions. Depending on the business model, shopping campaigns or local inventory ads are suitable in addition to classic text ads. The latter allow you to harness the power of Google with your local business without your own online shop.

What is the difference between SEA, SEO (organic hits) and Google Shopping?

SEA

Search engine advertising usually means placing paid advertisements on the results pages of search engines such as Google or Bing! Basically, the ads consist of a clickable headline and a text. However, various extensions can be used to communicate further information (e.g. telephone number, prices, promotions). So-called keywords can be used to determine when the ad should appear. Payment to Google is only due when a user clicks on the ad (CpC model).

SEO

SEO is the abbreviation for Search Engine Optimisation and stands for entries in search engines for which you do not have to pay. These “normal” search results are also called “organic” rankings. In order for a website to be found, it must have the best possible position. In most cases, this can only be achieved through continuous search engine optimisation. Correctly implemented website tracking and regular reporting are the basis for this.

Shopping

Google Shopping Ads also fall into the category of search engine advertising. However, this is a feed-based format developed for merchants. As an online shop operator, I can provide images and text about my products via the Google Merchant Center (or a tool like ProductsUp). These are then displayed on the search results page on Google. Like text ads, Google Shopping ads are charged on a cost-per-click basis. When it comes to managing product availability or colour & size variations, a feed management tool like ProductsUp is indispensable.

Feed & product management

Whether you sell your service on site or 10,000 products in your online shop, the basis is your product data feed. Article number, name, price, size, colour are only the most basic details that should be maintained for successful marketing. But do you really know how your potential customers search for your product? Or how about providing your purchasing department with data on “trending products”? All of this is covered by the area of feed management and product data marketing, where digital nalu can support you.

The offer is aimed at both retailers and manufacturers – ideally, we bring both parties to the table and create really good campaigns together!

Social Media Marketing

Do good and talk about it – preferably on social media channels! Why? No other medium manages to establish such a personal connection with your target group. Besides, we all like authentic posts and recommendations from our circle of friends.

Therefore, digital nalu’s services in the field of social media marketing range from the concept for your own Facebook page for community building and relationship management to campaigns with the very latest ad formats.

As with all our campaigns, we also pay attention to an automated and data-driven approach.
